here are my NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS :DDDD

everyone should have them

a good way of achieving your goals

before we look at what i PLAN to do for 2010

let's look at what i've ACHIEVED in 2009 :D

2009

academically: PROMOTED

financially: saved 1000 dollars! :D

got a job!

gave 100 dollars to god as an offering

FAILED to control my spending when i had lotsa cash

family: er.. i dunno?

friends: made loads of friends in NYJC/0922/house exco. even some from CJ and outside of sch

house exco: made it into house exco, unexpectedly got a leadership position for the first time in my LIFE

ballet: FAILED to commit and go to every prac. deproved a hell lot. i'm SO dead for 2010

2010

academically

study regularly and TRY not to get distracted. shall start after bloc test

start having a study timetable and keep to it?

use the comp a WHOLE lot less and certainly READ more

TRY my best for A levels. GO CHARIS.

financially

save 1000 dollars! (amount must EXclude ang bao money)

give 100 dollars to god as an offering

spend less money on food

don't shop so much until after A levels

family

be an awesome daughter who can take care of herself and her mom (since dad will still be working in abu dhabi and sister will be off in australia studying). so it'll just be me her and the dog

it was the day that was supposed to my last day of work

but everyone in the office were in the holiday mood so I (a temp staff) couldn't get in the office because i don't have the access card. pfft.

so no work alr. anw glad it's over. was getting a bit sian, especially working alone since almost all the others left.

called fenni and decided to meet her at vivo!!!

shopped for xmas gifts hehehe :D

went gloria jean's coffee to chill. also since fenni had a voucher lol

sunday: went to school (i know right, on a sunday!)

banner painting. it was fun anyway :D

hahahah the people in that day's shift.

them dancing the 31st mass dance with no girl partners.

salsa-ing alone.

anyway, we ended around 5? went to meet georgina at suntec after that!

for dinner and 'SHERLOCK HOLMES'

great show and plot. quite cool.

if only i wasn't too tired that day (church, painting, then movie), i kept dozing off during the movie, but stayed awake during the interesting parts. haha

again, i had fun :DD. i love being an OGL. pray i have an enthu OG!

tues:

went home for lunch then napped :))

went to meet choir ppl at suntec for dinner!

watched some movies at home.

'bandslam' is quite okay.

'i love you beth cooper' is BAD. omg don't watch it. it's so dumb.

i also watched 'the ugly truth'. hilarious show! haha loved it.

watched sherlock holmes with georgina yesterday night!

great show.

and i also realised that ENG WAH cinema so freaking cold. was freezing in there for 2 hours.

and today.. i just finished watching 'my sister's keeper'.

i'm so slow i know.

but i'm watching all the movies fenni sent to me.

time to catch up.

hahaha the movie's great. great storyline... etc

touching :) and makes us think about life.

yeah okay, nothing much to say already.

stuff i kinda wanna say here but i think i'll just keep them to myself.. for now.

okay peeps! time ta blog.

EFFING BUSY!!!

falling sick was definitely a sign that i was going out tooo much.

work, go out, house exco, other commitments etc..

on the bright side, work is ending soon :)

getting ABIT sian.

oh well

but earning money is great.

so anyway.. loads of pics of the happenings over the past week.

fenni came over for a while. she played her guitar etc. :)

headed to astons after that.

then ben and jerry's! :) awesome ice cream. heh

then watched 'A Perfect Getaway'. Great show!

wasn't too scary. i only screamed once.

next day: NEW MOON with momo!!

i like new moon! i dunno why people didn't like it.

anw me and momo enjoyed it.

miss working with her. TOTALLY sucks working alone now...

make a pair of earrings for my mom. by request from her herself.

saturday night. after work (again). headed to cheng san CC to watch gorgor's xmas musical. super hilarious. worth my 12 bucks :D

as usual, i'm having the time of my life during hols! :)

working is fun xD

especially when there's great commission

and i can spend more money on luxury stuff without feeling guilty.

met jane for lunch before work on tuesday

work was productive that day :). thank you lord. heh

ate the famous beef kway teow. NICE..

i'm working as a telemarketer.

so that day(or was it yesterday?) i dialled 200+ mobile numbers in 4 hours.

power not??

only about 70 ppl picked up.

wth.

enough about work.

tuesday was a special day because after work i went for the 0922 chalet :)

that night was the night most of them were staying over.

you would think a class chalet would be crowded and dirty and small and gross and you would be reluctant to want to stay over..

BUT.

the chalet simon booked is totally awesome!

it's an effin bungalow in the midst of all the surronding pasir ris resident bungalows.

BACK!

from leadership training camp.

had fun, honestly.

i'm surprised i had fun myself.

didn't really enjoy the first day of camp.

thankfully, things got better :)

i can't believe i survived it!

slept in birdhouse bunks

no fan, no aircon

area cleaning

TERRIBLE.

survived it all

aching from sea expenditure and high elements.

but i feel sorta accomplished.

LTC was fun but i wouldn't wanna do it again, at least for another few years.

but since my JC life is ending in a year, this kinda camps would probably never happen again for me.

anw, overall LTC was better than expected.

it's about time i blogged about malacca part 2.

before i'm off to jalan bahtera for Leadership Training Camp (LTC) tmr till 1st dec (liyan's bday!)

so this blog is gonna be pretty dead till then.

so many photos to post cause there's so many awesome ones.

it wasn't really sunny, unfortunately.

but it was sunny enough to leave a tanline :)

malacca part one! :)

couldn't sleep the night before

was too excited.

FINALLY, my parents allowed me to go overseas with my friends.

i know it's JUST malacca, but it's still out of Singapore.

baby steps, baby steps.

who knows? soon, i could be off in a plane to Milan with genevieve :)

long 4 hour drive.

but i always enjoy long rides as long as i have my ipod.

music is escapism for me.

arrived at the 3 bedroom apartment.

the lodging was free btw :)

so we only had to pay $50 for the two-way coach ride.

headed to mahkota shopping mall for lunch

did you know secret recipe is from malaysia!

that's why it's so bloody cheap.

my meal plus cake cost about S$8 only

but nooo, i didn't know it's impossible to diet in malacca, when the food was so cheap and there's delicious snacks everywhere you turned.

came back to get ready for the night outing (dress up!)

then i curled hers

all made up and ready to go.

no we weren't going clubbing or whatsoever.

we went to...

karaoke!

4 hours of singing.

dinner buffet included!

cheap of course.

DUH

this was a budget trip rmb?

omg and the last few songs we sang were chinese songs!

i sang 2! :)

cause i only know 2.

HAHA

self-high. alcohol not needed.

girls outings are always fun.

that's pretty much it for the first night.

firstly, i would like to say...

i love the griffins! effing screamed when i found out we all made it :D

so glad. i'm proud to be a griffin :)
